Tori Removal: Improving Comfort & Dental Fit

Tori are benign (non-cancerous) bony growths that develop in the mouth. While usually harmless, they can become a problem if they:

  • Interfere with the fit of dentures or retainers.
  • Become scraped or irritated by certain foods.
  • Interfere with speech or tongue placement.

Tori removal is a straightforward outpatient procedure where we smooth the bone to restore a comfortable, natural contour to the roof or floor of your mouth.
